Now Huddersfield Amateur Swimming Club faces likely shutdown after years, according to official Martin Greenhalgh. Competition was extremely keen as there were several excellent female and male swimmers in the area. As the organisation grew, we became the Amateur Swimming Association with responsibility for the development and regulation of swimming as a sport.
