Our residents return to school for a variety of reasons: complete high school credentials; learn computer skills, brush up for entry into Spartanburg Community College or other post-secondary training; improve reading, writing, vocabulary and math skills; learn specific workplace skills for employment, or employment upgrade; earn a WorkKeys Career Readiness Certificate at the Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Level. We offer classes in each district that prepare students for the high school equivalency exam GED as well as classes focused on improving skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. All classes integrate academic skills and workplace skills, providing a comprehensive curriculum that prepares students to be college and career ready. Students 17 years of age and older who are no longer enrolled in high school, may enroll in Tri-District Adult Education.
